Getting to PTE
Prairie Theatre Exchange is located on the 3rd floor of Portage Place Shopping Centre at 393 Portage Avenue.
By Car
You'll find convenient, heated underground parking in the Portage Place parkade, only accessible off Vaughan Street. You'll want to park in the blue section near Elevator 6 or the yellow section near Elevators 4 & 5. You can use ANY of those elevators to come up to the third floor and get to PTE to attend a PTE season performance.
Note: Elevators 4 & 5 are not available for rentals or presentations in PTE spaces (some exceptions apply - call the PTE Box Office for up to date information).

From Street-Level
The mall doors at Portage & Edmonton have been removed. The main street-level access for Prairie Theatre Exchange is at the doors mid-way between Edmonton and Kennedy Streets. Once you enter there, you'll find a lobby for Elevators 4 & 5. Take either elevator to the 3rd floor and follow the yellow line to PTE.
Note: Elevator 4 & 5 are only available when attending a PTE season performance and are not available for rentals or presentations in PTE spaces (some exceptions apply - call the PTE Box Office for up to date information). Proceed to Elevator 6 in those instances.
By Bus
PTE is centrally-located on bus routes from all areas of the city. Most downtown buses will stop directly in front of the mall, or across the street from it. Enter through the new main doors and follow the signs up to the third floor.
By Taxi, Uber, Transit Plus or Drop-off
All evening drop-offs must be made at the doors on Portage mid-way between Edmonton and Kennedy streets, as those are the only mall doors that are open after 6 pm. Or have the dropoff happen in the parkade at Elevator 4, 5 or 6 - a vehicle can enter and leave without needing to pay.
By Bike
PTE has a permanent bike rack just inside the lobby doors, available for all performances and any time you visit PTE. It’s advised that you bring a lock, but once the show has started, the lobby doors are locked for security. Use the street level entrance on Portage mid-way between Edmonton & Kennedy Streets and use Elevator 4 or 5 to come up to the third floor.
